Info about setting Gaim to use the Google Talk network (jabber protocal). Not sure if it's better then anything, but at least you don't have to use their client. But you can't use the talk feature unless you use their client. Sure someone will make a plugin for gaim. Since I don't use the talk feature of anysoftware like that, it doesn't matter to me yet.
