Waiting on the bastards at HarborDeath (Harborview Hopsital) to call me back with a date for my surgery.  They are going to remove all my fucked up teeth, broken and what not.  What it means is after it gets done, I won't have a fucking infection going on in my mouth, making me more crazy then I already am.

I had typed up a bunch of stuff, but since my mind can't seem to stay on task today, forget it.

I need to feed my cat anyways, I'll try to get back to this soon.

Sort of not a good time for me anyways, I think I have an infection that is getting into my bloodstream. So it's making me a bit spacey (if thats possible!) and it's sort of nice. I feel like i'm more connected with my dreams like this. Which shouldn't be anything, but since I tend to dream of the same place (not the same dream, just the landscape in my dreams are always the same, like I'm in a future Seattle, or Alt Realty Seattle or something).
Since I like my dreams better then I do real life, it puts me in a bad position.

Am I making myself crazy? Well, I guess if I don't feed my cat it won't matter, she'll probably just eat me instead.

I really wish I would update this more. But, if you understood how my mind works, then you'd probably understand why I can't/don't.

I just don't think of it enough. Or if I do, it's when i'm not around a computer or something.

Anyways, what I wanted to bitch about today, is how stupid people are when they interact in other countries. I know that isn't coming out exactly as I mean it, so let me give examples:

Today, on the news, they were talking about companies changing their businesses to the "Chinese" way of life, so they can do business there.

Um, well, no shit. What, you expect to bring your product and the world will bow down to use so they can pay for it?

How about the Iraq war? Where some soldiers finally figured out that if they start interacting with the locals, taking on some of their customs, like beards, learning Arabic, and basically showing the Iraqi's that hey, we are just like you. Normal people wanting to have everyone live in peace.

How about the missionaries of yesteryear? Where they would go and basically force the cultures to switch to their religion. I think it was Spain that forced most of south & central America into Catholicism.

I don't find how some of our government feels that it's okay to force democracy down other countries throats. Don't they read the history books? You can't change a peoples custom overnight. How can people live a democracy, when they've always had 1 person lead them? I'm not saying that it's right for countries to be oppressed, i'm saying that people need to want that, not just giving it to them.

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately. Partly because finding out about my dyslexia and other things, is making me see and understand things that happened before alot more clearly. but it's also making me realise that I, well, I guess you say, see things different then most people. Not better, just different. I guess like there's usually different way to drive to places. while most people will jump on a highway to get there, I guess you could say I'm taking the side streets, or the scenic route. and even get lost on the way. =)

I think i've mentioned that I ended up with a Sega Dreamcast Dev Kit.
I've wanted to try to turn it into a linux computer, since there is a working linux for the dreamcast. The problem is, I had read that the dev kit couldn't boot games.
So I've been on a search for some official Dev Kit software, or something so I could get an idea of what I am working with.
I also need to get (or make if I can find some info on the controller ports) a keyboard & mouse.

I recently got a used Dreamcast off craigslist. The dreamcast is in great shape, but i'm having problems getting it to boot cdr's. I'm wondering if my media is too new, or the 8x setting is too fast (won't let me burn a lower speed). Unfortunetly, I don't have the computer stuff I had when I had burnt my dc disks before. I guess I could have one of the few dc's that were made later, that doesn't boot off cdrs. That would suck.

Okay, I did get a copy of WinCE for Dreamcast and the SDK. I haven't looked into the sdk yet, but I did install the wince for dc, and learned a bit.

Apparently the Dev Kit connects to your computer via SCSI. It mentioned something about the dev kit not having a harddrive, but I can see what looks like a place for a harddrive and the cable to connect it.

So, I'm probably going to try to get it connected like it's supposed to be, and work from there. I'm sure I could I could get it set so it would boot games of a pc's harddrive, which, in itself, is pretty cool. Screw all those disks, and having to use a boot disk on some, just load it from a harddisk!

But, unless I decide to reverse engineer some of the software (might not have to, there might be source for dcload, but probably not), it would probably being running on a windows systems.

I'm hoping that it's possible to make it boot, providing it does in fact, take a harddrive. It has firmware, and they include the firmware, and I think, software for programming it. Since this is the dev kit, i'm going to assume they didn't bother to encyrpt it, pretty much no point for the extra time/cost.

It must have a decent amount of ram in it, because it's supposed to emulate a GD drive also. But that doesn't make sense, it would make more sense to have a harddrive and have the virtual image on that. I guess I need to reread what was there. Actually, I think I will print it.

Oh, also got a SGI Octane, and an Amiga 1000 system recently also. This is to join the Mac Plus, Mac SE, and Mac IIcx I've gotten also somewhat recently. Been into collecting working old systems recently. I got the Amiga also because I miss the Amigas I used to have. *sniff*
I got the Octane because I've always thought it would be pretty cool to have a unix machine. I traded a G3 for it, which I was trying to give away anyways, so it works out.

Man, I just don't update this enough. I guess I need a decent blog editor or something. I was using the Performancing plug in for firefox, but it seems the program is letting me down now.
Actually, firefox is letting me down, but that's another story.

The problem is, I wanted to post this link, and the stupid program kept telling me crap about closing something or some shit. It gave an example but I don't know if it was just an example or if it applied to my situation. Which didn't matter, because all did was type a few words.

But the point is, what's up with the defense? Sure, the offense lost some of it's best players, but the defense have just been sucking. They seem to have forgot the basics, like tackling at the legs. Repeately players keep missing tackles because they are trying to tackle them at the chest or higher. Um, dumbfucks, try tackling at the legs, waist at the highest.

So, what's up with that title? Today? You mean, like today? Not yesterday, or even, tomorrow? Okay, sorry. I am not funny, don't even know why I try. Anyways, the point is, well, there was some asian girls in the seats in front of me. I'm not really sure if they were fine, and I can't recal what they looked like. Sorry, but asian girls in Seattle isn't unusual or anything. Fine asian girls, well, not as many of them, but still, well, a decent amount. Not like it matters, I'm not getting any (not trying actually, i'm sure they all want me) anyways, but the point of todays little rant is this. One of the chicks had one of those electronic translators or something. It had the word in English, and then I guess it's meaning in traditional japense (you know, those funny little picture thingys). But the words that were listed (at least a few of them) is what caught my eye. First was:

okay, why the hell is these words even in the stupid electronic thing? Maybe Motherfucker, I can understand why maybe that word would be useful. (nothing like a tourist trying to swear at you in bad/broken english). But Incest and Incestous? What? Why? Is incest okay in japan? (or china, where ever they are from). While I can gather alot of people think that incest is okay (this is based on the number of incest stories that get posted to alt.sex.stories newsgroups), I didn't realise it was conversation material when you are traveling overseas.

If anyone can explain that one to me, don't. I think I'd be better off not knowing the truth. Either way I'm going to be disapointed and scared.

So, it's was Hempfest here in Seattle. I had fun for the 4 hours or so I put in today. My knee and ankle is killing me though, so I went home after 4:20. Caught a joint they were passing around, smoked it and another during the 4:20 speech.

Right now my cat has her head in my glass of water. Not sure what she's doing. She sort of drinking, but mostly just breathing on the water. I guess she's just trying to keep me from it. Maybe she wants me to put new, cold water in her dish. Maybe she should learn how to do it herself. =) Just kidding, I love my cat. She's a sweet heart. Hasn't figured out that walking on my keyboard is bad. Probably never will. But I get to wake up with her sleeping on my pillow, snuggled against the top of my head, usually with her face near mine. Of course, the only thing nicer is waking up with your head (or face) on a nice pillow of breasts, but, well, I haven't found a nice dumb (as in, not able to talk) girl yet.
I seem to have to fight my cat for mouse space though. She loves to lie on my computer desk, usually on the mouse pad, so she can rest her head on my hand. She hasn't figured out that I need the room yet. But I think she does realise that my hand is what is making that funny shaped thingy move around the screen (mouse pointer, mainly when I turn the trails on).
I got a laser pointer. She goes crazy for the light dot. But I think she knows I control it.

I need to make a device that I have to press to use my keyboard. Probably be really annoying having a pedal or switch or something, but it's hard to type when she's lying on half the keyboard. I can move her, but she just come back and plop back down, in the way. oh, hey, Naruto on. Sure, it's the English dubbed version, and i've already seen all these episodes (well, not only last week, and the week before, but I've downloaded all the fan subs episodes. currently that number is at 197. Hope they resolve the story line before it gets cancled. Need to get DVD version of the episodes. I got 8 DVD's of Bleach Fansub episodes, but all the single episode releases I get are avi files, probably xvid, I don't really pay attention. I usually watch it all on my computer anyways. Get tired of resizing the TV output, plus the color on my TV from stuff on the computer is just a little off. Looks a lot better on my Apple Studio Display (15" LCD using DVI).

This is just a start. I am tired of spam. I am tired of lame fucks who thinks it's okay to sell info. It's bullshit, you understand? BULL FUCKING SHIT!

Most of the people using internet are so fucking stupid it just sucks. Not at all like it was back in the early 90's. Of course, since Internet is main stream, I guess every John, Dick and Harry are going to be on it. Well, cool, don't really have a problem with that. What I do have a problem with is how fucking stupid you are. Pull your fucking head out of your ass. SPAM can be stopped, very easy.
First off, quit posting your email address every fucking place you can. Actually, get rid of whatever account you are using now. It's already spam ridden and there's nothing you can do about it. What you can do is this, make multible accounts. 1 account for family and friends. This account you do not share the address with anyone other then family and friends. Tell them to never give your email address away, to never use it when they are sending multible emails at once (unless it's a bcc), never post in anywhere on internet. Make another for work, and also make one for giving out to people you don't know. That email you should use Gmail for, or another good email that does it's own spam catching.
Also, use disposable emails for when you sign up for crap. www.gishpuppy.com is a good place to start.

anyways, I got better things to do then this. like anyone listens to what the fuck i say. you will wish you did, but I don't care. Just remember, when internet becomes to clogged down because of spam, you were warned. When terrorist kill people you know, you shouldn't of voted for a republican. Take a fucking stand people, because when the revolution comes, you are either with us, or dead. No more of this sitting back and letting others take care of it. We have less then 7 years before we have to stand by our choices. There will be no going back once that day comes.

I have a Mac. I'm now building a mac for my Dad because of all the spy/mal/ad ware he seems to like to collect on his computer. I'm also going to pick up a generic mac (clone) from someone on mon or tues. That one might just be an amiga clone (using UAE) depending.
I also have like 3 or 4 x86 type computers (I'm not calling them PC because a Mac is a PC also. PC=Personal Computer. Hello you stupid Mac commercial. Why most of the stupid people out there might consider a x86 running windows to be a PC, what they aren't taking the time to consider is that Mac's, Amiga's, Atari's (not the vid consoles), Commodore's, Acorn's, Z80(1)'s, CPM capable machine's, Apple's, BBC's, Micro's, and many more I did not name (or could not) are PC's. Personal Computers. Personal Fucking Computers. Do you catch the point here? Machines that have a x86 compatable CPU that run the Microsoft Windows Operating System (various crappy flavors) aren't the only fucking PC's on the whole people damned planet.
Anyways, I seemed to have got side tracked. Wouldn't happen if people were so stupid. Actually, it happens because I can not focus on anything for long, so I start getting side tracked...

okay, you get the point. Mac's are the great computer/OS for the people who's computers you have to clean all the time.

Of course, once or if they become more popular and start grabbing a greater share in the market place, then I'm sure their numbers of crap will start going up.

Think about what would happen if even 1/10th of the people that receive spam where to run this overnight or when they aren't using their machine. hehe. I like the idea alot. Make it so spam isn't even worth while.

Cyveillance Online Risk Monitoring and Management

I found out about this company from spamcop.net. It's one of the addresses that they send the spam headers to. So, naturally, since I hate spam, I wanted to find out more about them. Well, if you go to their website, you will see that they don't actually say what they do, besides "monitor" the internet. They makes some claims about checking blogs, chat rooms, so on, but anyone with a little knowledge of how the internet works knows this to be false. There is NO way they can check everything, all the time. Plus, if they were actually doing some good, wouldn't people hear of them? I've been on internet since 1990. I've been dealing with online security since the mid 90's. I haven't heard of them until I started using spamcop.net (after Blue Frog stupidly gave in to the spammers), so I wanted to see what they are about.

my conclusion? They are full of themselves. They get companys to pay them money for, as far as I can tell, stuff that a sys admin should be taking care of. I mean, come on, if they were actually affective at battling this online crime, why is there more crime happening online now then before? It's like my stupid ass government. oh, we have to have a war on drugs. drugs are bad. What's that? Since the war on drugs started, drugs are easier & cheaper to get. Hello! You suck!

I mean, sure, I should give them credit for ripping off business for little work, but I can't. I think it's just plain wrong.
oh, ya, I almost forgot. On their site, they have some "white papers" and a corporate overview pdf's that you can download. A total of 8 pdf's to download. Guess what? They want you to fill out the same form for every download. So either they don't want people actually reading everything (like I did), or they just don't know internet & internet users like they are claiming. After reading the pdf's, they only confirmed what I was thinking, that they are just scamming money off of businesses.

if, you want to read the pdf's without having to fill out the forms, I figured the way around it (like I'm going to fill out the same fucking thing 8 times in a row, I only did it twice), since it was probably someone's kid, or brother-in-law that did the web programing, they of course, left some holes in the system. Which is funny because it seems like the sort of thing they talk about monitoring against. While they have the download directory being a virtual directory, so you just can't point the browser to that directory & start downloading, I looked for the best next thing. What is that? Well, I just compared the urls from when you clicked on the pdf you wanted to download, and what the url was when you click on submit thingy after you filled the form out. It ended up that they use the same name for the pdf. Now, this isn't the same name as what the pdf is called after you download it, which is why the virtual directory way didn't work, but what it does is give you the page after the form with the download link. cool, eh?

Hello.

I just don't understand sometimes. Like here on blogger. We can change one of the dates things to a format like this: 20060623 which in my opinion is the best way to do it. Sometimes I will put dashes (-) between the year and month, month and day, but I prefer not too. Why do I like it this way? Easy to keep things that are dated in order thru the dates. Not to mention Europeans have the very retarded way of putting the day of the month before the month. um, sorry, that is so stupid it amazes me. sure, maybe it's in order, day month year. but in a computer list that will put files with the date in front in a non date order.
Since the other common way is month day year, why doesn't everyone just adopt the correct (IMHO) and best (OAIMHO) way? After all, we have computers do most everything. This was there is no confusion for which way the date is written when the day is less the 12? Tell me what day this is: 111206 ?

You give up? European way it's Dec 11, 2006. USA is Nov 12, 2006. that is of course just using a 2 digit number for year, which is rapidly going the way of the dodo.

Since Internet has become a vital part of the world community, you don't know exactly what system something is using, unless it says or is very clear.

Anyways, the point I was starting to make is, under bloggers settings, you can change the date to 20060623 or 2006-06-23 (plus numerious others). But of the 3 different places you can change how the date is displayed, only the first one lets you do it the correct (IMHO) way. So, what you will end up having, is 3 different ways of display the date. Possible 2, but they have a timestamp option that has a few choices with dates & time, but none the match the 20060623 way.
Why? I like google and all, but they seem to be rapidly losing themselves. Sure, they are the "big" company now, they can play hardball with MS (hate MS, they suck so bad). But, that doesn't mean they can start treating they customers like MS does. Doesn't Google have any quality control? Do they use their own software? Seems to me if they used blogger.com they would see the inconsistancies in the settings option. Though they probably just use the lame standard (and not computer listing friendly) way.

Sweet! I'm back.

Finally. Some lame ass jacked my blog address a few months ago. Then, they added some javascript so the topbar doesn't show on the sight, so no one could flag the account. Why did that matter? Because the "blog" was actually an ad for some weight loss crap.
So what did I do? Bitched at blogger. A few times. You know how hard it is to get ahold of anyone running this service? I never did. Even though in the help section it clearly states to email the support staff. oh, did I mention that they do NOT have any email address listed? anywhere?

so, I bitched on some of the google groups for the blogger. Also started up another blog about peoples blogs getting jacked. of course, though, I forgot about it like everything else in my life.

At first I got my blog back, but the person still had my address. So I was pissed. Since, it isn't really bloggers fault (well, it is, because they put in a lame flag system, and then don't bother sending you an email when one of your blogs gets flagged) because I was in the hospital for a month and only had email access (well, I could use my phone to web surf, but as $.01 per kb, it does start to add up). So, I started messing with the source on my stolen address's blog. I found the part where they made the toolbar thingy disappear, removed it, then flagged the account. Not know if that would work or not, I started checking out the page that the blog (on my blogs address) basiclly pointed to. it only pointed to it if you bothered to put an email in, and read what you got sent. Thanks to gishpuppy, mailnull, & trashmail for making "fake" email accounts. If you want to sign up for stuff, but don't want to give your email address, I suggest you use one of those sites (gishpuppy.com, mailnull.com, trashmail.net). The first 2 don't expire, but trashmail's expires in 6months, at the latest.
Anyways, I got my account back, under it's correct web address, so I don't have to bother with DDOS'ing the web page belonging to the people who jacked my address. And I went to so much trouble finding zombie computers out there. hmm, maybe I should figure out how to use the zombie computers to, oh, man, that is such a good idea. But it's something I need to think out, don't want to spill the beans before it's ready.
oh, dang, I got to say something. Think about this. Most spam is coming from zombie computers. How about a program that will find the zombies, then install some crap so it will let me know who & what address are connecting to the computer via the zombie port? sure, they might be controlled from other zombies, but all that does is give you more computers to check. What will happen is, after you take out all the zombie addresses, will be that you have other address which might lead back to someone.

Just so you know, I hate spam. but more on that later.

Hello.

It's another nice Fall day here in Seattle.
Yesterday was all about slack.
Received a bunch of memory (so now both my machines are running with a 1 gig, plus I have some ram put away for my next machine). I also got a 256 meg MMC card for my N-Gage QD, so i'm able to put some of those games I downloaded on it and try it out. Though i've ran into some weird things I didn't have before. Like I use Winrar 3.42 (corp edition) and when I did test on this archive, it all was fine. But when I extracted the files, 1 was corrupt, or didn't pass the crc32 check. But if I used 7Zip to extract it, it's fine.
Weird, but it might be because I put the memory at a CAS 2.5 instead of the 3.0 that is says on it. I know you can get weird problems with memory running at the wrong speeds, so maybe this was it. I, of course, haven't tried to see if it extracts correct now, lazy and all.

oh, I also got my epic 1.0 for my bst, and even made 30k on my trader. cool, cool, cool.

Of course, got the usually shit talking on my EQ hacking board, but what can you expect from teenage losers? Maybe one day people will realise that even though the Internet makes you pretty much anonymous, it doesn't excuse proper social behavior.
What I enjoy though is, knowing that these people are going to get used to talking so much shit, that they are going to blurt out the wrong thing in public sometime and get their ass kicked for it. That puts a smile on my face. I don't even have to stop being a pacifist. sweet.

oh, yes, the shrink thinks i need to up my dose of concerta again. I haven't been taking what they consider a "normal" dose because it causes me to, well, be aggressive, more lively, more likely to be violent, more angry, and well, more loathing of the world.

I'm about slack (not a slacker, slackers are different in my book, though I guess I might be considered a slacker by others), and well, when I'm like this, I'm not being as laid back as I need to be. Personally I blame the lack of marijuana.

Well, I haven't posted here in awhile. I mean to, but you know how it is. Busy, busy, busy. Busy doing what you ask? Well, I don't work. So i guess i'm busy playing EQ (live and beta (currently helping in beta) and WoW (private server, a couple of them). Also learning how to use exploits in the games, which I find very fun. Also learning how to find the exploits, which I do enjoy, but once again, it goes back to me not having enough time to get it all done.
Funny, when I was a kid time was the enemy, everything took so damn long, 5 minutes seemed like an enternty, let alone an hour. Now, I can space out 5 minutes like nothing, and an hour just goes by very quickly. It's very handy when I have a job, but not when I'm trying to do computer stuff.

Anyways, it's Hempfest here in Seattle this weekend (yesterday, today, and tomorrow) Supposed to get some "hemp" (excellent quality Pacific Northwest weed) in about 3 hours, so I'm just biding my time.

Damn, a lack of weed and I forget to blog for a month and a half.

Well, I'm back now. Had a little disllusion (sp?) a bit ago, so it made me not sure if I wanted to do what I was planning with this blog.

See, this blog is about slack and how it pretains to life. Namely, slack and my life. But as my life sucks, maybe not a good idea. Plus as slack sometimes means "liberating" stuff from the evil corporate empire that controls us.

Well, someone was stealing my slack, as a store that will remain nameless, used video tape after the fact to have me arrested and charged with Theft 3, which is just shoplifting. See, the changed shoplifting to theft because it seems like its a more serious crime. I didn't get busted in the store, I got busted months later when a lame seattle cop (which describes most of them) decided to stop me because it was reported that I was involved in "suspicous narcotic activities" which was really funny because I wasn't. The best part was, when it was discovered that I made a bowl of weed on me and a pipe, that wasn't considered the "narcotics" that I was doing. Then the cops go on to say that I was either shooting herion or smoking crack behind someones house, by their gray truck when they chased me away. I supposedly got mad and came back and set their truck on fire. I found that all pretty funny myself, mainly since I had proof of where I was when this was supposed to have happened. What really cracks me up, is the cops kept telling me that I was lying to them, when it reallity, they were the ones who was lying to me the whole time. But then, thats okay, gots are allowed to lie to people. And yet, the courts take their word as absoulte.

Anyways, they wanted to give me 6 months jail time for that (the theft charges), which they ended up giving me 45 days of home monitoring. you know, the electronic ankle braclet. Whish is great, because I don't really do much anyways, all pretty pointless.

The best part? I "liberated" so much stuff from that store that if I did have to do 6 months in jail, it would of still be worth it.

Small note to store managers, if you leave stuff out with no sort of security measures, yes, people just like me, some better, most worse, are going to take it. Mainly up on a street like Broadway in Seattle, where all the drug addicts hang out at. (which I figured is because there's a bunch of places that buys used stuff, which is a junkies greatest friend)

So, since i've been lazy on this, I decided to get back into gear. No one reads this blog, of course, but maybe, someday, I'll have something to say that people might be interested in. but i'm not holding my breath. Anyways, it's a good way to practice my typing, because god knows I don't type enough (joke).

I got into the World of Warcraft beta, which means free playing for a couple of weeks. I also have like 6 DVDs of Star Wars Galaxies 2 week free trial, which is good until Jan. 15th, 2005, so unless I give them away, I can play (new character each time) SW:G for awhile. 'cept the game sort of sucks, so I probably won't.

I got a free charactor on EQ that I usually play (Bisot on E'ci) but since i'm doing the wow i haven't been playing.
